Originally from the Seattle area, Joan Rachel Ranquet describes herself as an aspiring “Ambassador to the Animal Kingdom!” Since early childhood, her innate love of animals has remained omnipresent throughout her adult life, enabling her to literally “read” horses, dogs and cats on a daily basis. A virtual, real-life “Lady Doo Little,” Joan has quickly become a highly popular “Animal Communicator,” with clientele from Southern California to New York State.
Formerly a professional writer and performer (and equestrian) in Los Angeles, Joan, “officially” went into business as an Animal Communicator/Pet Psychic. To those who know her, it appears that her line of work was pre-destined. When Joan was seven, her mother entered her in a local, Seattle-area raffle to win a Quarter horse, with direct blood-lines back to the famous racehorse, “Three Bars.” “I’m going to win that horse today,” young Joan told her mother the morning of the drawing. The elder Ranquet looked at her daughter in bewilderment, and later that day, Joan won the animal, named "Hanky Panky.”
During the course of her childhood and adolescence, Joan owned and rode a number of horses after “Hanky Panky,” including “Honey Horse,” “Tigo” and “Tammy’s Surprise.” In high school, she pursued another passion, and became a professional actress, appearing in a number of television commercials, as well as in a comedy group called “Up To Your Neck,” (ala “Saturday Night Live.”)
