JESUSpolitik is a registered US 501c3 nonprofit organization. JESUSpolitik works with local missionaries overseas in areas where there is a lot of need and not always a lot of resources. JESUSpolitik connects these missionaries to larger human rights groups and missions groups that want to get involved to work in that same area with the same people group.
By linking arms, we have a broader outreach, and a more efficient one.
The goal of these collaborated projects is for them to become locally sustainable and to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the people being reached.
Word is then gotten out about these projects in the U.S., where people that want to get involved are given ways that they can use the talents that they have specifically in creative ways. It's a chance to begin using your God-given talents and interests right now and right here to help His people and begin your calling.
Our current project is the Love Maputo Project in Maputo, Mozambique. The Love Maputo Project reaches out to kids living on the streets, many of whom have been coerced into prostitution and drug couriering as means of survival. The Love Maputo Project also reaches out in hospitals, providing food and visitation to patients who otherwise would have none. We've seen souls get saved, kids being fed, girls coming out of prostitution and boys coming out of drug couriering and onto a new life.
A training center was opened in 2007 where girls that had been victims of prostitution could learn new vocational skills.
The Love Maputo Mini Documentary was released Fall of 2008.

WHY THE NAME?
JESUS - We operate under His name. This keeps us focused; it reminds us of why we do what we do and Who gave us this work. Not just "acting for acting's sake", but acting as an outpouring of our heart for JESUS and His people. We aren't moved by empty religion, money, or political agenda. We are moved by compassion.
Politik - The communal sense of the word "politic", referring to a community that is purpose oriented. We represent a worldwide community of mission groups, human rights organizations and concerned individuals that want to reach their world for JESUS.
