- One can attribute this success to the fact that Jerry Oglesby has been in the marine business since he was a young man. In 1984 he and Diane started the business, focusing on boat service & storage, and by the following year they were also offering watercraft rentals on the lakefront in Fontana. By 1989, Jerry was captain of the only parasail charter boat on Geneva Lake. Sons Mark and Matthew grew up working for the business and after they both had graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, they decided to return to Jerry's Marine and carry on the tradition of providing quality service through a family owned and operated business.
