Originally from North Carolina, I've been playing guitar for 26 years. I've been teaching guitar for 17 years, 14 years in NC and 3 years in FL. Starting at the age of 13, I picked up the guitar and never really put it down. After many years of lessons and various schooling, I spent most of my time working in recording studios throughout central Florida as a studio musician and also started my teaching career at the early age of 2o. I later took time off from teaching so I could focus on the next level of my profession which took me all over the Southeast and Eastern seaboard of the United States playing in clubs with different bands. Also having the opportunity of opening for various national acts including; Pantera, Robin Trower, Jeff Healey,etc. After touring for a number of years, I relocated back to North Carolina and started teaching again and have been doing so ever since.
