Jaspergreen was conceived by a group of professionals with backgrounds in manufacturing, engineering, marketing, finance and sales, who decided to show to present and future generations, the true value of the “New World”. Understanding that the real treasure of the Americas lays in their people, they went in search of this untapped talent. Their quest took them from the elevated areas of the Andes Mountains, to the jungles of the Amazon, into the towns and now modern cities of the western and eastern side of the continent. The task was to seek for the talent that had made these remote areas such incredible and mystical places for so many centuries.
What they found was enlightening. For many years, civilization after civilization, tribe after tribe, had left a legacy of wonderful artists that continue, in their traditional manner, to create art that is unique and exquisite. Blended with the strong Spanish influence of the time of the “conquistadors”, the results of the search convinced them to make investment in technology so that they could make the art of the new world available to all corners of our planet with all its beauty but also in accordance to international standards of quality and in sufficient quantity that would suit current markets.
