Jamaica Inn hostel is 12km east of Shannon Airport and is the closest hostel to the airport. It is located in the small village of Sixmilebridge (population 1,400). It is also 16km north of Limerick city (which is a major transport hub) and 20km south of Ennis, a pleasant market town.
There is a day-time bus service between the airport and Sixmilebridge and between Limerick & Sixmilebridge. The fare is €3 to €4 per person. A taxi will cost between €15 and €20.
Reception is open from 8.30am to 10.00pm, with a break from 1pm to 4pm. If you arrive during the break period or later than 10pm,let us know by phone, by fax or email.
