Through their personal experiences and through IT-SC, they recognized that existing solutions often were not up to the developing needs of the industry, and were resulting in lost data, lost revenue and significantly higher database management expense. Building on their understanding of performance issues, change management needs and pain points of managing large, complex data intensive Oracle Parallel Server / Real Application Cluster environments, Ixion's principals began designing programs to meet these real-world needs of database professionals. Eventually, these proven tools and programs were formalized into Ixion's industry-leading software products.
