About the Lists
Every week, humans quietly sift through new listing applications, robotically update the site, map and block e-mail harvestor sources, make editorial changes, and check all of the links on the ISPE to identify and remove dead ones. The object of all this is to provide lists which will be useful to a research audience. This focus on detail has made our lists premier targets for many legitimate robots, spiders, and crawlers. When you use the lists, please remember that we only allow one free listing per company. This makes categorizing companies tricky as there is some overlap between the categories and a company may have research, manufacturing, or sales efforts in various fields. Consequently, it is reasonable to use Search the ISPE or browse more than one list (e.g. Antibody producers may be listed in Biological Products, Custom Production or Chemicals/Biochemicals, depending upon their focus.)

About the Internet Search Engines
Our internet searches are not to be confused with Search the ISPE. Internet search engines, where available, are found above the lists on directory pages. From these engines you can search the web content of the companies that are listed on that page. Search the ISPE, when selected from the sidebar, will only return results from THIS website.
