Iswar Saran Degree College (ISDC), a constituent college of University of Allahabad founded in 1970, in an offspring of its parent organization Iswar Saran Ashram, which was established in 1933 by Munshi Iswar Saran, a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi. The Ashram initiated various programmes and activities including educational institutions for the marginalized sections of the society.
