Description
Iris the Dragon and her family are Green Marsh Dragons. They make their homes near rivers such as those that are found in Eastern Ontario, where Iris and some of her family live. Iris and her family come from the Water Dragon family. They are smaller than other dragons and much friendlier.
Iris is the eldest of seven daughters. She was born in the year 1200, which makes her presently almost 800 years old. She was born on a mighty river in North Eastern Ontario.
It was a joyous day for Iris’s father and mother when she was born, as female dragons are very special and rare. Because of their special status, it is decreed that female dragons must be taken to a secret Dragon School in a cavern, which is said to be deep down in the earth’s surface.
