A few months before 19 october 2004 I was thinking of setting up a Iranian Football website containing mainly video clips to be downloaded. That time there weren’t much Iranian Football videos on the net so a lot people were interested in my idea. After thinking about the layout and the content of the website I had to create a name. At the same time I was looking for a good webhosting company for my website. I had names like “IranFootball” , “TMClips” , “TeamMelliClips” in my mind but not IranGoals. Then suddenly when I was searching google I typed Iran Goals and just after I did that I thought that was the perfect name. I went immediately to the webhosting site to register a name and two days later on 19 October 2004 the website was online.
In the beginning I was looking for people who could help me with uploading videos. I finally found some people who were at the same time working for an other new Iranian Multimedia website. They helped me a with the website but after some time they decided to go to work for an other website. A few weeks later I saw I didn’t had time to update the website so I closed it. Six months later I decided to rebuild the website and opened it again.
The IranGoals website you visited yesterday was completely different than the one you are seeing now. You are probably thinking why I did this? I did it because I had not enough time to update the news on the website and I wanted a more user-friendly website. The good thing about the new system is that you will find a lot new content (multimedia stuff) but less news about Iranian Football. However important news about the Iranian players abroad and Team Melli will still be published.
