The World Premiere of a dazzling multimedia collaboration between Rick Miller and Dawson Nichols (I Might Be Edgar Allan Poe). The two actors take on dozens of different characters who all share an obsession with J.R.R. Tolkien, including the director and producer of "Into The Ring", a film about the Lord of the Rings phenomenon. The play features various excerpts from the book, as well as live camera feeds, video projections, and spectacular staging and lighting effects.
"Into The Ring" explores many important themes, including the nature of storytelling, the power of fantasy, and the incredible peaks and valleys of artistic creation.
Excerpts from the copyrighted book entitled THE LORD OF THE RINGS by J.R.R. Tolkien have been incorporated in INTO THE RING under license from Tolkien Enterprises, a division of the Saul Zaentz Company.
