Internet Guide covers a wide variety of topics, such as html, email, tcp/ip, search engines, security, viruses, browsers, newsgroups, chat programs, file sharing, FTP, Telnet and more. Internet Guide has been created to help people who have general computer problems, whether they be software, hardware or Internet based. Internet Guide is specifically aimed to help Internet users based in the United Kingdom, and some pages included will be referring to services and companies only available in the UK.

However I feel the majority of information included will be useful to users anywhere in the English speaking world. Internet Guide is basically a site that includes a comprehensive glossary of terms, with extra features such as a forum for people to discuss their problems, and hopefully answer anybody's questions. Internet Guide has been developed by just one man, myself, and therefore I don't class myself as an expert or computer geek. So if you find any information that is incorrect please email me, and I will update any mistakes. I also try to keep advertisement to a minimum at Internet Guide, and only include a few indiscreet advertiser links on the site to help cover my hosting bills. This website isn't a business, but it includes a review system for products such as computer game consoles, with a custom built price lookup system to try and cover bandwidth costs which can be high. Hopefully the reviews for item's like the Microsoft 360 game console will offer a useful service as well.

The price comparison section has now been deleted and moved to a new website all of it's own (http://www.pricegatherer.co.uk/). The new site will concentrate on electrical and computing reviews and comparison. However a few miscallenous sections will be kept here still, they are for products types which wont fit within the new sites guidelines.
