What (summary)

A space in the skin is created for internal advertising that encourages the behaviours we'd like more of from visitors and members of AboutUs. The advertisements that show up in the space are rotated based on the category of viewer. Some advertisements are shown to all categories of viewers while others are only shown to a particular category of user. We collect statistics and analyze the effectiveness of the various internal advertisements at accomplishing their particular goals.

Why this is important

Clearly communicating the benefits of engaging more deeply with the AboutUs site will help to drive Adoption and ensure that our Growth is deep as well as wide. Gaining practice at A/B testing will help us become experts at maximizing the benefit we get from the opportunities we choose to pursue.
