- I, Wanda McDowell, a teacher, wife, and devoted mother of two tried many different avenues before finding my niche. I sold on Ebay using drop ship companies and bought wholesale clothes from warehouses to sell. However, I could not dedicate my self to selling online. It wasn't until summer 2007, when my best friend's sister was getting married when the idea struck me to create an online auction site: InfaCity. InfaCity would make life easier for wedding planners, brides, and businesses within the United States.
