- Hi! I'm Elliott Estrine, owner of Magic Touch Productions and editor and developer of the Indie Promos on-line magazine. I started this website ten years ago after I attended the San Diego World Film Festival. I’ve always loved film, but until that festival had never seen an indie or met a filmmaker. After the festival, I wondered what I could do to help filmmakers promote their films. The idea for this site came to me on the freeway about a week later.
