- In March 1990, the current owner Rick Burnette began with Discount Import Parts and Service, which had been in business for 24 years. After several months of hard work and reorganization of the company, Rick became a partner in the business. In August of 1990 it was renamed Discount Import Service, Inc. In September of 1992, the partnership was dissolved, and Rick became the Single owner of Discount Import Service, Inc.
