About the Founder of IMPLANTFORUM
I created this site 11 years ago and at the time it was the only site of it’s kind. Since I had done extensive research and my husband at the time was a physician and my plastic surgeon was recommended to him by a general surgeon; I undoubtedly thought I had all the bases covered for a good result. However, I was disappointed with the size as well as other aspects. For the money we spend, I didn't want other women to make the same avoidable mistakes. I also wanted to provide women a place to share their experiences, particularly since discussing breast augmentation is not a common topic at lunch. At over 16,000 messages a month it's obvious the IMPLANTFORUM community was a much needed support group!
I have also written articles for national cosmetic magazines. IMPLANTFORUM has also been featured in other magazines, newspapers and even TV.
As far as the technical & administrative side of building a website, I have been a computer nerd since I sat down at my first one 23 years ago, so creating a website came somewhat naturally.
