Imperial Ford celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2004. Since it first opened back in 1964, the company has supplied vehicles to thousands of drivers, young and old, as well as countless businesses.
Of course, it has seen its fair share of changes in the past four decades. Originally named Immingham Motor Company, it is now Imperial Ford. For the past 20 years the company has been owned by one family.
It is all a far cry from the world of motoring back in the Swinging Sixties, but one aspect of the business that certainly has not changed is the relaxed, friendly approach. There are no high pressure sales techniques here - people are more than welcome to look around the showroom at their leisure.
