Imitation Ltd. was founded in July 2000 by Dr Edmund Furse. Furse has spent 20 years researching Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science working in British Universities, with the past 10 devoted to the goal of developing a computer model of human imitation learning.
The company is based in Cardiff in the UK. The mission of the company is to produce very easy to use software utilising AI techniques. IMITATE is the first such product which allows novices to do their own programming in Java, with no previous knowledge of programming or Java.
