Caring for our global family “We say in our family that the boys were born in Africa and the girls were born in the U.S.,” said Eric Kurtz of himself; his wife, Kim; their two sons and their daughter (pictured above). The Kurtzes are part of Assembly Mennonite, Goshen, Ind. Eric was born in Kenya and was a missionary kid in Somalia until age five. International experience was something that “kind of became instilled” in him at a very young age, he said.
