For Years Ohio’s community based, independent providers have been building fiber optic networks to better serve the voice, video and data needs of their customers. In order to realize the full potential of these individual networks, several held a vision of someday linking these local broadband distribution networks with a larger transport network. This larger transport network would provide a highly reliable and economical means to deliver evolving communication technologies to all of Ohio. For Northwest Ohio, someday is today!
Recently Independents Fiber Networks, LLC working in synergy with thirteen of Northwest Ohio’s community based independent providers with such local fiber assets established the BNG Optical Transport Network. This Network represents the most reliable and comprehensive transport network in Northwest Ohio.
To make it easy and efficient for you to utilize this network, the group established IFN as a single point of contact to satisfy all your network transport requirements. IFN is Ohio based, and we are committed to finding reliable and economical means for covering more of Ohio than anyone else.
