I talked with someone who received an email from autosupport@idsus.com saying something about a transfer not going through, and she received a charge for $140.

I talked with another person who received an email from idsus that said "Your transfer for the amount of $28.00 has failed on 07/14/2012." This feels like a scam / phishing attempt to me - maybe they're hoping some people will reply to those emails to figure out what it is, and give them personal information like bank account or credit card numbers. I would recommend marking emails like that as spam/junk (or phishing if your email account has that option - Gmail does), and double checking with your bank that you weren't charged.
