The International AIDS Society-USA has a clearly defined mission, an extensive network of experienced and committed HIV/AIDS experts, and is recognized for high-quality, independent educational programs. The primary educational and informational programs sponsored by the International AIDS Society-USA include CME Courses, development of Treatment Guidelines, and publication and distribution of Topics in HIV Medicine®.
A primary challenge in the field of HIV/AIDS education lies in disseminating the most recent information and treatment guidelines to physicians while knowledge continues to evolve. The International AIDS Society-USA is committed to pursuing the most effective, convenient, and cost-efficient ways to reach a greater proportion of the target physician audience and effect long-term improvements in physicians' clinical care of their patients.
