Local 457 was chartered in 1972. We represent approximately 1200 working men and women in CT. Our workforce is on the properties of Connecticut Light and Power, FirstLight Energy, Norwich Public Utilities, NRG Generation and Wallingford Public Utilities. Our mission is to protect the rights and safety of all our workers throughout the various contracts and work locations. To that end we administer and negotiate 15 different contracts.
