During the two meetings held in Lausanne on 18 May and 9 June 2009 the Steering Group agreed that the FEI had successfully implemented a number of key governance changes since the 2005 FEI General Assembly in London (GBR). It nevertheless found that the need for a smaller Board as approved in principle by the 2005 General Assembly in London remained, and that this goal had yet to be accomplished.
