Hyper Boards at once used the ProBoards.com software but set out to use it's own. Making major changes they converted from PERL and text files to PHP and a database. Hyper Boards has an active friendly community that is always looking to help one another.
The staff of Hyper Boards seem to be very open to new suggestions and are constantly making changes to improve their custom software. Hyper Boards as of few other remotely hosted forum softwares do offer a subdomain with no server number in the URL making them a step apart on top of their unique software.

At one time Hyper Boards used software developed by ProBoards.com but decided to create their own.
It is unknown how many servers Hyper Boards has. They do not register their server number domains, and offer everyone a .hyperboards.com domain.
