Hypeline.info is a popular nightlife sharing website where users can upload, view, and share video clips. Hypeline was created in November 2005 by a former employee of Entrepreneur.com. The Newport Beach-based media service uses Adobe Flash technology to display all features. The wide variety of site content includes local news and photo images and video clips, as well as amateur content such as event blogging and comments. Currently staffed by 3 employees, the company was named Web Development Magazine’s “Local Media Invention of the Year” for 2006. In October 2006, Hypeline Media Labs announced that it had reached a deal to enter long-term research development project with a "private company" for US$57 thousand dollars. The deal closed in May 2007. In the companys second year, new functions developed added which provide the ability to post interactive video ads ‘responses’ and subscribe to content feeds for a particular user or users.
Brian Vandenberg (born 1977) is the founder and CEO/President/Founder of the popular Orange County, California-based nightlife information sharing and feedback website Hypeline, one of the biggest providers of nightlife videos on the Internet. In December 2006, he was voted 483rd on Web Development Business’s “1000 people who matter” list. In March 2007, Hypeline Media Labs Inc to date is valued in at over US$490K in just two(2)years.
According to a March 2006 online Online eTech News column, Vandenberg is a user interface expert and was primarily responsible for the functionality aspects of the site.
