Why forums, why not LinkedIn or Facebook group?
From our research, a lot of professionals just do not want to participate in web-groups under their real names, when the reasons are on the surface:
- They do not want to be caught wrong on some topic and thus to compromise and embarrass themselves in the eyes of the community.
- They do not want to clash with their colleagues and, sure, bosses online, thus compromising their employment.
We are not a competitor, but rather an addition to all the existing community services on the web, aimed to the specific category: hydrographic professionals.
Printed and video news and a very reach job section. We are free to publish any press release on hydrography and offshore related matter. Want your own blog? Need to ask a question, have a call to share?
