As pet owners we wanted the best we could for our own family of dogs and cats and spent a lot of time and effort researching pet behaviour.

You will know your dog or cat uses it's nose to direct and access food, unlike humans they cannot use their thumbs! They need their paws to remain standing. Yet this leaves them at a disadvantage using a conventional pet dish. As hugx designers found out, creating a "hugx angle" eliminates many problems found with normal pet bowls and your pet and you can enjoy dinner time more.
Pets will find Hugx ergonomic, as the bowl is curved on the inside, and angled (the hugx optimum angle is 32.5 degrees) and this curvature and angle allows your dog or cat to reach their pet food easily. Hugx pet bowls are therefore non slip, reducing noise, and improving kitchen hygiene as there is less mess and it's easier to clean, no where that food can lodge!
Post-operative, many pets have to wear 'Elizabethan collars' (recovery-collars) or 'Buster collars'. Using Hugx, pets can still eat unrestricted and this can reduce a lot of trauma for you and your pet.
