- Tom Harrington is a native of Florida, born and raised in Lake County. He has lived in the Tallahassee area since 1980. Tom holds a BS in Finance from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University. Following completion of his graduate studies, he worked as a Policy Analyst with the Florida Legislature. Tom began his rental property business in 1991 buying houses and renovating them for student living. Tom is married to Tammie Barfield, and they have one son, Shea.
