- Howdy Neighbor was started in 2002 by Dana and Joni Polansky of San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Polansky, a licensed Professional Real Estate Inspector in Texas, and Mrs. Polansky an interior designer, realized the need for a personalized service in helping homebuyers and homeowners simplify the moving process. Though several Internet based referral services were available, the Polansky’s found that these services were very hands off. They also found that clients were not only being distracted but also annoyed by all the unexpected phone calls from the different service providers. That’s when Howdy Neighbor Concierges was formed.
