- HowmuchUbench.com was the brain child of a motley group of young beef-monkeys from Northeast Jersey with too much testosterone and plenty of time. The idea of creating a social networking site devoted entirely to like-minded bodybuilders, weightlifters and power lifters came to us one afternoon at the gym. In the middle of one our usual benching competitions the idea struck us like a thunder-bolt: why not create a site that could somehow capture the socially interactive, fun and competitive workout experience that you get at your local gym or fitness club? And this is precisely what we've set out to achieve here at HowmuchUbench.com: nothing less than the ultimate virtual social networking experience exclusively geared towards bodybuilders, weightlifters and power lifters.
