Hickory Mountain Plant Farm, aka "The Hosta Farm", is a retail and wholesale plant nursery located off of Highway 64 on Hadley Mill Road between Pittsboro and Siler City, N.C. We specialize in growing hostas and ferns and offering a never-ending variety of both hostas and ferns. We also have a selection of other shade perennials. The walk-in nursery is open every day except Sunday & Monday April 15th through June 15th from 10 am to 5 pm. We're looking forward to seeing former customers/friends and having the opportunity to serve new gardeners! Customers frequently return with photos of their rewarding results in growing our plants. In addition to our mailorder and walk-in nursery, we sell hostas wholesale to people in the trade. Just call or email regarding wholesale buying.

At the nursery in Chatham County, NC, we're presently growing over 200 different varieties of hostas and 27 varieties of hardy ferns. New varieties are added each season. Growing hostas is never boring!
