Hoodia Supreme is purely a Hoodia supplement, and nothing else. Its website offers detailed information on how the herb was traditionally used, as well as the effects of its popularity on the African bushmen who originated its use. The site also provides some excellent guidelines for selecting the best quality Hoodia. While the simplicity of the product may appeal to some, other consumers may wish to use information gleaned from the Hoodia Supreme website to select a supplement with multiple benefits.

REVIEW OF Hoodia Supreme
Hoodia Supreme is a weight loss supplement marketed by the company Nature’s Benefit, which claims to be dedicated to creating supplements “that are of the highest quality and utilize the purest ingredients.” This product is advertised to reduce fat by suppressing the appetite, which should lead to a lower caloric-intake. Hoodia Supreme is comprised entirely of the ingredient Hoodia Gordonii, which has been shown to reduce hunger and cravings. Hoodia has been used for centuries by the San Bushmen of South Africa. They are known to have chewed on the plant during times of food scarcity, in order to alleviate hunger and thirst, particularly during long hunting expeditions in the Kalahari Desert. The San people believe strongly that the effect of Hoodia is their discovery, but they had to fight big business interests to be included in revenue sharing from the commercial success of Hoodia. They are now working with cultivators in South Africa and they are benefiting with jobs, given the popularity of this plant. Hoodia Supreme is a fine product for those who are curious about Hoodia, but are not necessarily interested in taking additional supplements. This product could also be used in addition to a fat burning or other stimulant-based supplement that has proved to be lacking as an appetite suppressant. That said, those looking for a more well-rounded approach to weight loss have no shortage of options, since Hoodia is popping up more and more frequently in thermogenic products. While we do like the herb Hoodia and are impressed with the effect it has on the appetite, though we do not believe this supplement offers dieters a complete formulation. Reducing caloric intake is a good first step to create weight loss, but a product should also focus on fat burning. The patented version of Bitter Orange Extract, Advantra-Z, may raise the metabolism and would make a powerful combination when paired with Hoodia.
