Rick Holtsclaw and Brad Kendall formed holtsclaw & kendall, l.c. after concluding the most effective way to help our clients was by working as a team evaluating, preparing and trying cases. In many ways, holtsclaw & kendall, l.c. is unlike any other firm. We handle each case just as we would want our own case handled. We get to know our clients with compassion.
Although we have more than 30 years' of combined legal experience, we are young enough to keep up with the stresses and rigorous pace of complex litigation against large and wealthy insurance companies and corporations. Although each case is different and we obviously cannot guarantee outcomes, we do guarantee we will put forth the same effort in every case.
We represent people in serious injury and wrongful death cases. Many of our cases have been against railroad corporations for employee injury cases (known as FELA cases), and we obtained the largest verdict for an injured railroad worker in Kansas City, Missouri history. We also represent small business owners that have suffered economic losses. Although we are based in Kansas City, we have a national practice and have represented clients in state and federal courts in many different states.
