About Us
Melbourne Overseas Vietnamese Student Association (MOVSA) Inc. is a body for those who are interested in joining and sharing. It includes but not limited to all Vietnamese students currently studying in Melbourne.
Offers: culture dance, Vietnamese traditional food, poetry, sports and creative games Supports: study overseas, living in Melbourne
MOVSA maintains a website at www.hoisinhvien.net. The website helps MOVSA members communicate and connect them together. Members and visitors also can find information about past and recent events and activities, communicate with the association committee.
History
Found: 25/3/1999, registered as a legal entityat Victoria government on 3/8/2001.

Mission Statements
Generating the solidarity and mutual support and help amongst all Vietnamese students through collective activities.
Generating an environment in which the Vietnamese students are enabled to integrate, share experience and study in Melbourne.
Providing occasions and opportunities so as to help MOVSA students exchange and gain cultural and social knowledge with other student associations
Membership component
MOVSA is an organization founded for all the overseas Vietnamese students in Victoria and other individuals who are in compliance with its criteria.
Every member as well as non-member is warmly welcome to participate in the Association's activities
Activities
MOVSA is a gathering of members having common interests and all originating from a highly Vietnamese traditional culture, which has been reflected through MOVSA' s activities over the past years. Firstly, regular activities of a variety of clubs, gathering places of members with common interests (in football, table tennis, music, dancing…) should be mentioned. Furthermore, such traditional celebrations as the Lunar New Year, the Mid Autumn festival as well as semester breaks are the time for all MOVSA' s joint activities.
