Description
in 1946 by Dr. Lance Ware and Roland Berrill , who wanted to bring intelligent people together for mutual interest and benefit. "Mensa" is Latin for "table". Ours is a round-table society wherein no individual member has preference. The society is non-profit, non-partial, and non-racial. Mensa has no political, religious or ideological affiliations. Mensa is a worldwide organization with over 100,000 members in more than 100 countries. The society is made up of national, regional and local groups within those countries. Hong Kong Mensa was established in 1988 and has over 350 members.
Hong Kong Mensa regularly organizes a wide range of activities for its members. You can meet interesting people of all ages by attending Mensa sponsored events:
Within the society Special Interest Groups (SIGs) throughout the world provide a means of communication between members who have a common interest. Mensa's aim is to provide members with a friendly and intellectually stimulating social environment.
