After Pentecost Peter said, quoting the Prophet Joel: "Your young men will see visions; your old men will dream dreams." It is very difficult to keep a vision or dream alive because both are something seen other than by ordinary sight. In the Bible God used both to reveal Himself and make His ways known through chosen individuals. Therefore, a God-given dream can only be accomplished as the dreamer keeps his faith in God. God gives dreams to His people for several reasons.
