ello, my name is Evan Dowdy, and I am the owner of High Country Angler Fly Fishing Guide Service. I was born and grew up in Charlotte, NC. I have been fly fishing since the age of 13.
streams in NC and progressed to the tail waters of the Watauga and South Holston in TN. When I am not guiding, teaching casting or fly tying classes, I work in the White River Fly Shop at Bass Pro Sevierville, TN. I transfered from the Charlotte, North Carolina Bass Pro Shops to Sevierville, TN to work in their Bass Pro Shops in 2005.
