About Hidden City
This site has been around in various forms since 1996, which is admittedly a source of astonishment to its creator. It predates blogging by a bit, having originally been a rather ordinary personal web site. As a point of fact, the author still tries his damnedest to avoid using the b-word, but it's difficult to make people understand that a personal site is not the same things as a blog. So it goes.
Speaking of the author, his name is Marc Kevin Hall, at this writing a 46 year old guy living in the greater Miami area. He shares his cluttered, untidy, and overstuffed house with three cats (HobGoblin, Badfoot, and Nicolette), and a lot of memories. He has a day job, but he'd rather not discuss it if that's all right with you. (He will, however, occasionally indulge in the time-honored tradition of bitching about it.) He counts himself fortunate, in that he has many good friends all over the world, in large part due to the wonders of the Internet. These friends even indulge his bad habits, such as employing the tedious humor of third-person self-reference.
Hidden City is entirely the responsibility of its author. If it offends you, take it up with him; he will derive great pleasure from your discomfort and/or outrage. But hey! If you enjoy it, don't be shy. There's no sane reason to maintain a personal site other than ego gratification, so feed his.
