Description
1978 and celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2003. In that year we held a football festival at the Crichton campus, we have now held this most successful event for 3 years. HRYFC are based at Maryfield playing fields in Dumfries and are run by a committee of volunteers and coaches for the benefit of developing children and youths from age 5 - 16 years into skilled footballers.
The club is a full member of the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA) and the local Dumfries and Galloway Youth Football Development Association (DGYFDA). The clubs coaches are SFA
certified and trained to deliver coaching sessions to SFA standards and requirements. We also have trained personnel who are able to deliver basic first-aid in the event of minor injuries happening.
