- The "Friends of Hermon Dog Park" is a new community of dog lovers, dog walkers, dog rescuers, obedience instructors and neighborhood advocates whose purpose is to support the dog park with what will continue to make it a welcoming retreat from urban life. FHDP have already hosted several fun Friday night "Yappy Hours", most recently a "Dog'Toberfest", which has helped grow the group's membership ($5 a year).
