1. They call me Heinz. In the Philippines, it's a conversational piece and a curse. 9 out of 10 people ask me where I got my name. 7 out of 10 say they love it. 2 out of 5 are amazed my name is like the ketchup brand. 4 out of 5 express surprise I was actually named after the baby food from the same company. 3 out of 80 million Filipinos are named Heinz (I'm guessing), and I've never met a namesake. 8 out of 10 people can't pronounce it (Heyns? Hayz? Hayds? Heidi?). 9 out of 10, I have to spell it out. But I like my name. Some people call me H, Heinzy, Kuya Germs (don't ask). At home, I'm Cocoy (after Cocoy Laurel...grrr), Coks, Cookie, and Tito Coy (to my nephew).

a managing director for our family business. And I also work on a lot of other projects like events and writing assignments for a local and international magazine. I realized I'm good at starting projects, like a magazine, a web site, an awards program, and a conference. What I'd like to do in the future is run my own cafe, speakers' bureau, and various small businesses, have my own consulting practice, become a publisher, and end up teaching, lecturing, and writing, and be a personal finance and consumer finance expert and financial planner, with a media empire spanning print, online, radio, and events... bwahahahaha!!!!
