The Miami Heat continued to fill out their roster, signing guard Patrick Beverley to a contract Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Beverley appeared in four games, including three starts, on the Heat's summer league team. He averaged 5.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.25 steals, 1.8 assists and 24.8 minutes, while shooting 34.8 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free-throw line.
