- Dr. Daspit graduated from L.S.U. School of Medicine in New Orleans and after Internship served in the U.S. Navy as a Flight Surgeon in support of the operational forces involved in the Vietnam War. He then completed his residency training in General Surgery/Otolaryngology at the University of California San Francisco. Fellowship training in otology/neurotology then followed at the House Ear Clinic/Institute in Los Angeles. He then began his practice of otology/neurotology in Phoenix January, 1980 as the first fully trained sub specialist in this field in Arizona. He has been associated with the Barrow Neurological Institute since then currently serving as the chief of the Neurotology section. He is a founding member of the Barrow Skull Base Team and the Barrow Acoustic Neuroma Team.
