The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation is a nonprofit education, advocacy and research organization dedicated to enriching the lives of the poor and the underserved through Faith Based Capacity Building. We work to achieve our mission of “Empowering Grassroots Communities” through Faith and Community Based Partnerships and other community initiatives.
The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation is the community outreach component of The Healthy Caregiver Magazine. The Healthy Caregiver is published by its parent company, The Harmon & Pugh Human Resource Partnership. The Harmon & Pugh Partnership is a family owned firm based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1991. The firm’s principles created The Healthy Caregiver Magazine as an elder care resource tool for family caregivers – it was influenced by their work as community volunteers through their church. In December 2001, the principals created The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation to support its advocacy for faith-based outreach.
