- Joseph Rizzo was born and raised in New York. He is one of six siblings, who remain very close to one another. While approaching completion of a degree in architecture, he was involved in a motorcycle accident. Two surgeries and over a year and a half of rehabilitation followed. This rehabilitation included chiropractic and physical therapy. Still unable to return to work as a general contractor in New York, Joe decided to go back to school. He wanted to help sick people get well but found too many "flaws" in the "drug theory". After research on the professions that most often address the known causes of the disease process, he found that 86% of the time chiropractors helped address patients' chief complaint and corrected the causes of their disease. Chiropractic was the main modality, post surgical, that helped heal his wounds and also eradicated other disease processes such as allergies, asthma, headaches and joint pain.
