ABOUT US
High Country Traders is a trading post located in a quaint log cabin nestled in the beautiful Big Horn Basin in the town of Thermopolis, Wyoming. Home of the World's Largest Mineral Hot Springs and the Wyoming Dinosaur Center. To our east the majestic Big Horn Mountains, to our west the beautiful Owl Mountains. To get here from the south, you drive thru the awesome Wind River Canyon and follow the Wind River as it cuts thru our beautiful landscape. Don't be surprised to see the elusive Big Horn Sheep grazing on the mountain side.
High Country Traders is privately owned by Jack & Pat Ehlers. Jack has been an avid hunter and fisherman all his life and antlers have always intrigued him. Now he is creating knives, lamps, jewelry and other fine antler art items.
We carry a variety of antlers, including elk, deer, moose and antelope. These are all the way from mounted heads to pieces of antler. We also keep an assortment of full game mounts. At this time we have a 9' Grizzly Bear, mountain lion, Arctic wolf, black bear and a Dall sheep.
