HammerSmith Knives & Publications was founded in 1989 with an eye towards making the finest knives available at any cost. Over the years, I have continued to study and hone my craft to a high degree of refinement. I have been fortunate indeed to have had the opportunity to serve the most discerning of clientele.
My work has been featured in the top trade magazines and publications as well as numerous gallery shows featuring high quality metal craftsmanship. Damascus steel has provided for me an opportunity to challenge my artistic senses to the limit. This unique material allows the artist to make the very steel itself an expressive medium that stands on it's own aesthetic merits. It is at all times both challenging and satisfying.
The individuality and uniqueness I am able to express in this medium is for me, unlike any other. My many years of trials in this exotic discipline have placed me in an ideal position to transmit my learning to others. Having spent much time in the classroom and workshop learning environment, I turn now to presenting my efforts to the widest possible audience through these new CD's and DVD presentations as we launch HammerSmith Knives & Publications.
